We’re creating a little more space in our calendar for projects and work that feel deeply aligned with where we’re heading, which means we’ll be taking on fewer weddings next year.
We still adore wedding days and the stories they hold. So if you feel connected to our way of storytelling and think we’d be the right fit for your day, we’d genuinely love to hear from you.
Our storytelling approach
We bring the storytelling approach we’re known for into the wedding space, resulting in a wedding gallery filled with images that reflect your story, and all the little in-between moments on your day.
Our Kodo wedding couples are humans who love stories. Our couples are the ones who don’t mind grass stains, who laugh loudly, who hold each other tight, who don’t want a camera in their face every minute. They’re present. They’re real. They choose moments over performance every time.
And if we’re honest, it makes our hearts a little heavy seeing how the wedding world has turned into a pressure cooker of perfection. Your day should feel like a chapter in your story, not an event to manufacture. The beauty is always in the real stuff.
It’s why our couples so often say things like, “Oh my goodness, I didn’t even see you capture that!” or, “How did you get that moment with my grandmother? That happened so fast.”

We love details.

We love the pretty things too. The colours. The tables. The outfits. But they are not what drives us. Our heart lives in capturing your day in a way that future generations can look back on and actually feel, not just scroll past.
We keep our wedding spaces intentionally limited so we can connect deeply with each couple we walk alongside.

Our approach is photojournalistic, capturing all the genuine, in-between moments that tell the real story of your day - beyond the stunning snaps for Instagram. We see our wedding couples as friends, and our goal is to make you feel comfortable and at ease, ensuring you’re captured in an authentic and genuine way.

All the best images from your day. We aren’t going to delete images because they go over a quoted amount. Noooo thank you! You’ll receive all the very best (minus the closed eyes & duplicates).

When you book a session, you'll receive an initial consultation to discuss your story and vision, a complimentary 30-minute engagement session (included in all wedding packages), sneak peek images within 48 hours and a final gallery delivered within 4-6 weeks.

Yes, our Full Wedding Story package includes both photography and videography, providing a comprehensive capture of your day with a 5-7 minute storytelling film delivered within 8 weeks.

No drama, yay for more memories captured! You can add additional hours of coverage at $250 per hour to ensure every moment of your day is captured.

We love a good road trip and have captured many destination weddings. Please contact us to discuss your specific vision. Additional travel fees may apply.

Yes, we offer an uncut version of the speeches and ceremony as an optional add-on for an additional $800.

HECK YES! We love to meet new couples! Being newly married, we understand the importance of finding photographers who you click with, and who understand your vision. Engagement sessions are the perfect chance to meet us, hang out and view our approach in real-time to see if we're a good fit.
