Mother’s Day Minis Guide

Our Mini Sessions are strictly 20 minutes in length and begin at the moment of your booking. For example, if you book a 9am-9:20am session, your time begins at 9am. We recommend arriving 5 minutes prior to your session to unload the kids from the car and settle in. However, due to the back to back nature of mini sessions, please do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to your session.

Absolutely! I encourage bringing grandparents to celebrate the generations of motherhood in your family.

I totally understand that little ones get sick. While mini sessions are non-refundable due to how quickly they book out, and how tricky it is to fill a spot last minute, you won’t lose your session fee! Instead, you can use it as a credit toward a future full-length session or a future mini. So while we’ll miss you on the day, we’ll make sure you still get beautiful memories when the timing is right!

These sessions are all about celebrating motherhood, so you best believe you’ll be in the snaps! I’ll be snapping all the moments in between frames, so you’ll walk away with a gallery that features a variety of shots.

Yes, your $220 session fee is required to secure your spot. We’ll provide you with all the payment details once your booking time is confirmed.

Yes! Dogs are welcome. Please make sure your pup is on a leash and that you’re responsible for all cleanup duties (aka, poop patrol!). If your dog is joining in, I recommend bringing treats and their favourite toy to help grab their attention for photos.

I understand that life happens, especially with kiddos! If you’re running late, please let me know as soon as possible via phone call. As we're shooting back to back sessions, I won't be able to respond to texts or DMs. The amount of time late may be deducted from the time allotted for the session. Refunds or other compensation will not be provided for the time deducted from the session due to late arrivals.

Each session is designed for immediate family members. Please be aware that for members over 6, we'll be shooting quickly, but will focus on all group shots as opposed to individuals. If you'd prefer more intimate one-on-one snaps, we'd advise booking two back to back time slots.

Yes! All images are carefully edited in my signature style and delivered within 7 business days via a proof gallery. This means your images won’t be available for immediate download but you’ll first select your favourites, add them to your cart, and apply your discount for your complimentary snaps.

That said, my photography is documentary-based and play-led, which means I focus on capturing the real, raw moments of motherhood. I don’t do heavy skin retouching or perfect every stray hair because the beauty is in the imperfect, in the way your little one reaches for you, the laughter, the movement, the connection. That’s what these photos are all about.

Once you've locked in your session time, you'll be required to fill in a family questionnaire. We’ll discuss your Motherhood story and indicate any preferences and any special spots that are meaningful to you. Our goal is to capture your heart as a Mum in a setting that feels natural and significant.

Mini sessions are designed to be an affordable and quicker way to snap family photos. In your questionnaire, you’ll be advised to select up to 2 location areas to focus on for your session.

We recommend comfortable outfits that reflect your family’s style, but most importantly, ones you can move in! Neutral tones and soft pastel colours often work well. Avoid any massive logos/heavy patterns as they date really quickly. But priority is something you can move in and that feels like ‘you!’

Gold Coast weather can be a little unpredictable! If weather is bad, we'll simply focus on our undercover locations. Our team is magic and you won’t even notice the difference!

In the unlikely event of severe weather or major flooding in the area, we will follow all advised precautions and be in touch via phone call for next steps.
